Jason Addesso, promoted to Managing Director, FVLS
Jason is a key member of the Forensics, Valuation and Litigation Support group, based out of Shrewsbury, NJ. He has been with DLA since June 2016 and in his five years with the firm has truly proven himself a leader in his practice group. Relied on heavily by Kevin Baldwin and David Landau, Jason leads and manages the Forensics, Valuation and Litigation Support team and is the point person on most client relationships. In his new role, Jay will continue to lead client engagements and will be responsible for generating additional relationships with attorneys.
Catalina Candanoza, promoted to Manager, Internal Audit
Catalina joined DLA in November 2019 as a Senior in the Internal Audit group. Catalina immediately proved herself an asset to the team. Catalina specializes in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and working with clients to ensure effective and efficient control frameworks are implemented. Catalina is a team member whom DLA staff look up to as a mentor and counselor. As a Manager in the Internal Audit practice, Catalina will continue to advise clients and lead engagements.
Richard Chongoushian, promoted to Chief Financial Officer
Richard has been with DLA since April 2019. He joined the Firm to oversee the accounting functions of the organization, including developing an efficient financial close process and providing timely management reporting. He is a trusted advisor to and works closely with the Operating Committee of the firm as it relates to the organization’s financial matters. In his role as CFO, in close coordination with his accounting team, Richard will continue to oversee DLA’s treasury function, financial close process and financial statement preparation, manage the firm’s financial functions, and lead the implementation of the firm’s new NetSuite Financial platform.
Holly Davies, promoted to Controller
Holly has been a valued member of the firm’s back-office accounting team since March 2017. Initially hired as an Accounting Manager, Holly was promoted to Assistant Controller mid-year 2020, and will now take on the Controller role for DLA. Beyond her responsibility of assisting the CFO and overseeing the firm’s billing, as the Controller of DLA, Holly will be responsible for preparing DLA’s monthly financial statements and processing payroll.
Danielle Dietrich, promoted to Managing Director of Human Resources & Administration
Danielle has led DLA’s Human Resources function since she joined the organization in July of 2017. Danielle’s role has developed greatly over the course of her four years with the firm. Danielle manages and controls the staff’s performance process, recruitment efforts for the firm, benefits and 401k administration, insurance policies and renewals, and onboarding and retention. In her new role as Managing Director, Danielle will have oversight of all firm administrative functions and will join the Operating Committee of DLA and continue to counsel the partners as it relates to HR policy process and system design, compliance, and employee relations.
Spencer Javras, promoted to Senior Manager, Internal Audit
Spencer has continually proven himself to be an asset to the DLA Internal Audit team and its clients. He initially worked for DLA as an Intern in 2015. He rejoined the firm as an Associate the following year and continued to grow in responsibility and rank during the past five years. As someone who knows the ins-and-outs of the organization, Spencer is heavily relied on for training and mentorship amongst the current staff and especially the new hires of the practice group. As a Senior Manager, Spencer will continue to work with DLA’s financial services clients where he will advise and assist on complex process areas.
Pratik Patel, promoted to Director, Internal Audit
Pratik is one of DLA’s most tenured and valued employees. Pratik celebrated his 10th anniversary with DLA this year and with it the very deserving promotion to Director of the Internal Audit practice group. In his new role, Pratik will continue to focus his efforts on the firm’s Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) clientele, but with more of an emphasis on project management, oversight, and business development. Pratik is often referred to as DLA’s Chief Moral Officer, as he is someone who consistently has championed to advance the culture and morale of the organization.
Jonathan Yan, promoted to Manager, Internal Audit
Jonathan has been with DLA since November 2014. Initially hired as a Senior, Jonathan has grown into a major resource and strong asset for some of DLA’s largest clients. Jonathan is regarded as a trustworthy and diligent resource to both the DLA team members he works with and to the clients he serves. In his new role, Jonathan will continue to develop his oversight skills, advise clients on complex areas, provide recommendations for improvement, as well as take on a more robust role as it relates to mentorship and supervision.
