Spencer Heuman-Gutman is a Director of Corporate Development at DLA with over 10 years of experience.  Spencer has extensive experience in Corporate Development and M&A, Financial Modeling and Analysis, and Market Research and Analysis. As Director of Corporate Development, Spencer’s core responsibilities will revolve around conducting comprehensive market research to identify competitors and market impediments, strategically pinpointing actionable entry points in identified markets, and maintaining essential market reports and forecasts.

Prior to joining DLA LLC, Spencer served as a Corporate Development Manager at Azurity Pharmaceuticals, Inc.  While at Azurity, Spencer developed and presented M&A and licensing proposals to the executive leadership team, which will play a vital role in supporting our business strategies and pipeline development. Spencer’s strategic expertise was underscored by his ability to create dynamic financial models and prepare financial reporting packages for private equity stakeholders.

Additionally, Spencer has extensive experience in evaluating private equity investments across diverse industry sectors and performing extensive due diligence.
