Sarah Zichlin is a Director in DLA’s Governance, Risk & Controls group, based in New York. She brings more than 10 years of experience across Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, internal audit, enterprise risk management, SEC reporting, and accounting policy, with particular expertise supporting asset management organizations.

Sarah specializes in designing, implementing, and enhancing SOX and internal control programs, including internal control over financial reporting (ICOFR) frameworks. She has led annual business and IT control assessments, company-wide risk assessments, internal audits, and remediation efforts for material weaknesses. Her experience also includes implementing technology platforms to integrate and automate SOX, operational audit, and risk oversight programs.

Prior to joining DLA, Sarah served as a Director at AlTi Global, Inc., where she focused on SOX implementation and internal audit. Previously, she was a Senior Vice President at Rithm Capital Corp. and a Manager at KPMG. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Sarah brings experience spanning both consulting and in-house leadership roles, providing her with a broad perspective on governance, risk, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Sarah also has significant experience with complex investigations and financial reporting matters, including investigations involving misappropriation of assets and phishing-related fraud. She has overseen the preparation and approval of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, S-1, DEF 14A, and 8-K, and has provided technical accounting guidance related to the interpretation and application of U.S. GAAP.
