Rich Barnett serves as a Senior Manager in DLA’s Accounting Advisory group, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. With extensive experience in technical accounting, financial statement preparation, and audit preparedness, Rich specializes in complex accounting challenges and US GAAP compliance. His expertise includes adoption of new accounting standards, application of existing accounting standards, IPO readiness, and SEC compliant financial reporting. He has a proven track record of assisting clients through seamless financial statement audits, IPOs, and M&A transaction accounting.

Prior to DLA, Rich was an auditor with BDO in Boston, MA, where he focused on financial statement audits of public and private companies in the technology, SaaS, biotech, and manufacturing industries. Before BDO, Rich held various bookkeeping and tax preparation roles in New England.

Rich is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Massachusetts.
