John Weber is a Managing Director in the Accounting Advisory Practice at DLA, LLC. He has 38 years’ experience with SEC registrants, private companies, and complex accounting matters.

Prior to joining DLA, John served as a Partner with two National professional services firms, where he was a subject matter expert on business combinations, impairment analysis, income tax accounting, stock compensation, revenue recognition, and going concern analysis.

John has extensive experience dealing with regulators, including the SEC, PCAOB and FINRA. His deep understanding of the audit process is helpful in communicating complex and sensitive issues. John also has expertise in SOX/404 compliance matters.

John has taught externally and internally, including instructing courses for PLI, RSM, Grant Thornton and KPMG. John also taught adjunct courses at Montclair State, Seton Hall, and the Becker CPA Review course.
