Carleen Gaskin serves as a Partner in DLA’s Forensic Accounting, Valuation & Litigation Support practice, based in the firm’s Fairfield, NJ office. She has more than 25 years of experience specializing in forensic accounting, litigation support, and business valuation. Carleen advises federal and state courts, attorneys, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals in complex civil and family law matters, bringing technical rigor and practical insight to each engagement.

Carleen’s practice spans matrimonial and commercial disputes, fraud investigations, mediations, and valuation assignments across a wide range of industries, including retail, distribution, professional and legal services, medical and dental practices, real estate management, construction, printing, and apparel. She has been engaged to perform business valuations, cash flow and lifestyle analyses, equitable distribution calculations, and diversion of assets reviews. She has testified* as an expert witness in the Superior Courts of New Jersey and New York, and is recognized for her ability to deliver clear, defensible, and results-driven analyses in high-stakes cases.

In addition to her client work, Carleen is an active speaker and educator in the field of forensic accounting and valuation. She has presented at the AICPA Forensic & Valuation Services Conference, served as faculty at the Houston Family Law Trial Institute, and contributed to continuing education programs for attorneys and financial professionals. She is also a member of the Forensic and Business Valuation Division of the AAML Foundation and the Collaborative Divorce Association of North Jersey, reflecting her deep involvement in the family law and dispute resolution community.

Prior to joining DLA, Carleen was a Partner at WithumSmith+Brown, where she served as the Market Lead for Matrimonial Litigation. Earlier in her career, she held forensic accounting roles with Morrison & Company and RosenfarbWinters, LLC.
