DLA, LLC Appoints Jason Miller as Managing Director in Accounting and Financial Operations Group

DLA, LLC (“DLA”) is pleased to announce that Jason Miller has joined the firm as Managing Director in its Accounting and Financial Operations Group, focused on Operational Accounting. Based in Chicago, Jason will lead complex finance transformation and operational accounting initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor to CFOs, private equity sponsors, and senior executive stakeholders.

Jason is a finance transformation leader with more than 20 years of experience advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, enterprises, and government contractors. He brings a distinctive combination of advisory expertise and hands-on operating experience, frequently serving as a finance operator, systems and data transformation leader, and interim executive.

As a finance operator, Jason has a strong track record of improving EBITDA and working capital through back-office redesign, close-cycle compression, and cash conversion initiatives. He has particular experience supporting private equity-backed middle-market companies as they prepare for growth, refinancing, or exit.

In his role as a systems and data transformation leader, Jason delivers end-to-end implementations—from current-state diagnostic through cutover—anchored in data architecture, margin visibility, and sustainable reporting operating models. He ensures that transformation investments translate into measurable business outcomes well beyond go-live.

Jason has also served in interim executive roles, including Chief Transformation Officer, Chief Information/Technology Officer, and fractional CFO. In these capacities, he has stabilized finance and technology functions, restored stakeholder confidence, and positioned organizations for long-term success with a seamless transition to permanent leadership.

Most recently, Jason was a Managing Director at Ankura Consulting Group, where he led complex transformation programs spanning ERP-enabled reporting model design, back-office optimization, liquidity management, and M&A-related initiatives. Prior to Ankura, he was a Director at Riveron Consulting, where he focused on business performance improvement and finance transformation. His earlier experience includes roles at Navigant Consulting and FTI Consulting, where he supported financial integration, M&A execution, and enterprise systems transformation initiatives.

At DLA, Jason will play a key leadership role in advancing the firm’s Operational Accounting Advisory capabilities. He will lead large-scale client engagements focused on finance transformation, ERP implementation support, financial reporting modernization, and data strategy. He will also help clients redesign finance operating models, improve reporting accuracy and scalability, and leverage automation and analytics to enhance decision-making.
