Chong, to lead the firm’s Internal Audit practice. Keith Snyder, Partner and current Internal Audit Practice Leader, will be transitioning his role to be the Chief Administrative Officer of the firm, where he will be responsible for day-to-day operations, integration of new businesses, and building out the DLA infrastructure, among other things. Keith will continue to oversee key client relationships.
Yoon has over 25 years of experience, including internal audit, risk management, regulatory compliance, capital markets, consumer and commercial banking, and private equity. Yoon is recognized as a trusted advisor to Audit Committees and Chief Audit Executives (CAEs) and has collaborated with numerous CEOs, Chief Risk Officers (CROs), and CAEs on designing, overseeing, and executing testing and issue validation programs that meet regulatory expectations. Throughout his career, Yoon has received various accolades from boards of directors, executive leadership teams, and regulators, for his ability to build sustainable risk control functions and departments.
For DLA, in his role as a Partner and the Internal Audit Practice Leader, Yoon will lead the DLA team in assisting clients through Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, internal audit reviews and related management consulting services, as well as oversee the firm’s Internal Audit team. Prior to joining DLA, Yoon served as a Principal in PwC’s Cybersecurity, Risk and Regulatory Practice, where he was recruited back, after leading Goldman Sachs’ capital markets team for seven years. Yoon provided internal audit and compliance testing services for financial services institutions in the banking and capital markets sectors. Yoon expanded PwC’s internal audit and compliance testing service offerings and helmed client engagements, covering critical enterprise risk management areas such as SOX, governance, culture, Volcker, CCAR, IHC, EPS, and Dodd-Frank swaps dealer rules across second and third lines of defense functions.
