DLA, LLC Announces 2021 Mid-Year Promotions

Hamidul Ghani, promoted to Senior, Internal Audit 

Hamidul joined the DLA Internal Audit group in June of 2019 as an Associate. He has used his internal controls assessment expertise to assist DLA’s clients in the financial services industry in their Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and performs risk assessments and monitors and recommends remediation of any control deficiencies. In his new role as a Senior Consultant, Hamidul will develop solutions to strengthen controls, improve profitability, and aid client management in decision-making. 

Emmanuil Vinarov, promoted to Senior, Internal Audit 

Emmanuil joined the DLA Internal Audit group in June 2019 as an Associate. Prior to DLA, Emmanuil had experience as a Business Consultant for the United Nations Federal Credit Union and in a Compliance role for Robobank. For DLA, he focuses on developing documentation of internal controls and processes for clients in industries ranging from REITs and BDCs to Manufacturers. As a Senior Consultant, Emmanuil will be expected to present to management, discuss deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions to clients. 

Jacob Goldman, promoted to Senior Manager, Internal Audit 

Jacob was hired as a Manager at DLA in August of 2018 as the Firm’s need for construction-focused auditors expanded. Jacob brings a high level of construction expertise and is respected by clients for his industry knowledge and ability to share leading practices.  He serves as the point of contact to the clients assisting in risk assessments, creation of audit programs, creation of policies and procedures, and audits of the full life cycle of a construction project. As Senior Manager, Jacob will oversee DLA staff in the execution of client audit programs and deliverables and will continue to engage in frequent communications with clients’ constructions teams. 

Erkhan Murad, promoted to Managing Director, Internal Audit 

Erkhan has proven himself to be a true asset to DLA, rising from a Senior level staff member in the Internal Audit group in August of 2016. He brings a wealth of audit, controls, and advisory experience to his clients, which focus on the financial services industry. As a Managing Director of the Firm, Erkhan will coordinate with client executive personnel and present to the Boards of Directors. He will be responsible for quality and timeliness of deliverables, addressing client questions or concerns, and be readily available to assist with time-sensitive matters. Erkhan will continue to put his leadership skills to use as it relates to the mentorship and guidance of staff.
