DLA Capital Advisors is excited to announce that we are expanding our team with the addition of Matthew Lapish as Vice President.
DLA Capital Advisors brings institutional quality investment banking advisory to the middle market. Whether seeking capital, pursuing an acquisition, considering a sale / divestiture, or facing distress, DLA Capital Advisors works with middle market privately held and small cap public companies facing moments of transition.
Matthew will assist our clients with their capital management needs, under the direction of Kathleen Lauster.
Matthew specializes in advising companies reaching unique inflections throughout the corporate lifecycle in matters ranging from identifying unlocked liquidity potential to Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures to restructuring situations. He has 15 years of experience in corporate finance and has experience in M&A on both the buy-and-sell-sides and has led restructurings as a workout officer, investment banker, and consultant. His clients are firmly entrenched in the middle market and range from family-owned businesses to private equity-backed companies.
Prior to joining DLA Capital Advisors, Matthew was a Managing Director at Chapel Street Capital where he led buy-side and corporate development activities for privately held companies in the SaaS, industrial, media, and energy markets. Prior to this he worked at Mackinac Partners as a Director in their Turnaround consulting practice advising companies in the retail, consumer products, and distribution markets through both in-and-out-of-court restructurings. Prior to Mackinac he headed Corporate Development for PennWell Corp., an international information services company where he was responsible for M&A and internal strategy. At the beginning of his career, he held various investment banking positions with both BDO Capital and Banc of America.
