Managing Director, Advisory Services
Lindsay Timcke is a Managing Director in the Northeast Advisory Services department at DLA, LLC with over twenty years of experience. His professional expertise includes cyber security, risk management, IT controls, project and management consulting. Lindsay’s clients have ranged from multinational publicly traded firms and government agencies and quasi agencies to engagements focusing on non- for profits.
Lindsay started his career as an independent consultant in Boston working on major ERP implementations including SAP, Oracle, Platinum, Great Plains, AX as well as many “Homegrown” systems and then encapsulating regulatory requirements as they emerged including Sarbanes Oxley, PCI, HIPAA, GLB, Massachusetts State Privacy, HITECH, SSAE/SOC and Safe Harbor. Prior to joining DLA, Lindsay was a Senior Manager at Grant Thornton. Lindsay was responsible for overseeing a team that focused on Information Technology based compliance and Cyber Security under multiple compliance regulations and in many cases across multiple countries utilizing COBIT, ITIL and COSO standards.
Lindsay also worked with multiple clients developing effective ERM strategies that both from an operational and Cyber Security Standpoint helped his clients better understand their risk profile and create effective remediation strategies. Lindsay has worked on these projects to both work with management and vendors to create a holistic view of his clients environment.
Lindsay has been a national instructor for staff as well as routinely utilized by client companies to perform in-house training for subjects from IT compliance and security, compliance based materials to utilization or Penetration Tests and Vulnerability Scans and the interpretation of the data.
